Gender-Sexuality Alliance: Promote a more inclusive and accepting learning environment for all students. Help your school reduce harassment or teasing and create a safe place to discuss concerns facing LGBTQ individuals and their allies. We will plan education activities and debunk stereotypes as we become leaders in our school community.
School Improvement: Ever wondered how you can make our school a better and safer place for everyone to feel welcome? Come join us to meet others with a similar mindset and take action to help make our school a better place!
Art: A place for students to collaborate, create, and discuss visual art. This club provides opportunities for students to highlight and display their creativity. Students will lead the direction of the club.
Robotics: Learn how to code and write commands by programming and controlling robots.
Basketball: Want to get better at basketball or improve your general fitness?! Join a basketball club!! This club will help improve some of your fundamental skills to be successful at basketball. There will also be opportunities for homework help along the way!
Messages of Positivity: Help spread messages of positivity throughout Mt. View, and participate in random acts of kindness for students and staff. We will help maintain the positive messages outside of the Student Support Center, but we have other ideas and projects for you.
MTV ZINE/Writing: Do you like to write? Do you spend your free time writing stories, poems, essays, graphic novels, or more? The Writing club is a place to deepen your writing skills and prepare to share your writing with the world. It's also a great place to connect with other writers. This year we will work on a Mountain View magazine to publish!
Japanese Culture & Anime: A place for students to come together to celebrate, watch, and discuss anime. Key insights into Japanese culture and language will also be a focus. This club provides opportunities for students to highlight and display their creativity.
Drama: Meet with other fans of the stage. We'll meet twice a week to focus on characterization, scene work, set design, costuming, theater make-up, and mostly, to have fun! - No new members until January 2023.
Soccer: Improve your soccer skills and general fitness. This club will include some homework support and will meet in the Library first. Soccer tournament opportunities against other middle school's this school year!
Homework Club: Need some help on assignments? Work with a teacher that can help you be the best learner you can be! Work with other students that are focused on bringing up their grades and preparing for their future!
